Basil Essential oil is often known to be a stimulating and energising oil which can help you to focus. Its well renowned for its ability to help refresh and focus the mind; try using in the car to help maintain concentration on a long journey or whilst studying to kick the brain into gear (pop a few drops onto a handkerchief or diffuse in an electronic fragrancer / traditional burner).
It can also be blended in a carrier oil to make an excellent sporting massage for use before and after sport or other physical activity.
 Basil is a very lively oil and a little goes a long way when blending with other oils.
